To a wonderful friend, I just wanted to say thank you for all the fun times and the laughs we shared and I really appreciate all the help and support you gave my family and I. You were always patient, caring and explained things in a way that never made be feel stupid or inadequate. You did things for people selflessly, nothing was ever too much trouble, you would turn up, get the job done and never want anything in return. I will fondly remember the meals shared with friends at the curry mile even if the locations were often somewhat interesting! I will always look back on all the times we have shared and you will always be in all of our memories, you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. I hope you are at peace now and looking down on us remembering the good old days. Forever in my thoughts x

John, A very special person who hid his light under a bushel. A man who dedicated his life to helping others you will always be remembered by the children at Poynton Dippers, all the biathletes, triathletes and pentathletes. I am sure you have saved many lives with your tireless blood donations and helping in the COVID vaccination centres. You never wanted any praise as you would always say “well the job needs doing.” I hope you are at peace with the sun shining down on you in your chosen final resting place.
